What is Children's Physiotherapy?

Children’s physiotherapists, also known as paediatric physiotherapists, are specialist practitioners that understand how children move, function and develop and how different conditions and injuries impact on development. Children learn about themselves through interacting with their environment. Any condition or injury that limits a child's ability to participate will benefit from physiotherapy. Children’s physiotherapists also need a clear understanding of the legal framework for working with children. Debbie Beneke BSc, PG Cert
